What Is a Liner?

A liner is an internal protective layer placed inside big bags or industrial bags to protect the product from direct contact with the bag body, moisture, dust, and environmental contamination.

At Sayman Polymer, liners are designed and manufactured according to material type, product sensitivity, storage conditions, filling method, discharge method, and hygienic or export requirements.

Protecting the Product Against Environmental Factors with Liners

Many industrial, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical materials are sensitive to moisture, oxygen, contamination, or dust. In these cases, using a liner helps preserve product quality and purity during transportation and storage.

As an internal protective layer, the liner prevents direct contact between the product and the fabric, sewing, or external bag environment, reducing the risk of contamination or cargo damage.

Liners Designed According to Bag Type

Liners can be designed according to the shape of the big bag and the intended application. Liner type, dimensions, thickness, inlet and outlet shape, placement inside the bag, and required protection level are determined based on product characteristics.

This product can be custom-produced for 4-Loop Big Bags, 1 & 2 Loop Big Bags, and other industrial bags.

Liners Suitable for Sensitive Materials

Liners are used for products that must be protected against moisture, contamination, leakage, caking, or quality changes. Food products, pharmaceutical raw materials, chemical powders, polymer granules, minerals, and moisture-absorbing products are among the main liner users.

Aligned with Filling and Discharge Processes

  • If required, liners can be designed with properties such as antistatic performance, higher tear resistance, odor control, oxygen and moisture protection, or structures suitable for solid, liquid, and semi-liquid products.
  • A liner must be aligned with the customer’s operational process. For this reason, its design is based on the filling machine type, bag mouth structure, discharge method, and line-use conditions.
  • This alignment allows filling, discharge, and packaging use to be completed with minimal waste, contamination, and product damage.
